Sourcenext’s Pocketalk won ChannelHub’s first online “Pitch-your-Product Award” on 15 April 2020. Voted in real time by 92 representatives of distributors and retailers from 40 countries across EMEA, the product won 51 percent of the online votes as the most innovative and commercially interesting product. Finalists also include LAER charging system from Arrow, Noerden’s Liz self-cleaning smart bottle, and Unravel AW+ Wireless Charging Pad from Ampere.

The winner and finalists will be promoted in a special edition of the ChannelHub newsletter and the home page, giving them post-event access to buyers on the platform.

Other products that were showcased at the event included Carbon Mobile’s Carbon 1 MK II smartphone, The Barisieur from Joy Resolve, Hombli Smart home devices, Ultimate U710S smartphone from Energizer, ShiftCam’s multiLens and ProLens for the smartphone, and TILDE PRO from OroSound.

Farouk Hemraj, CEO at ChannelHub, said, “We are very pleased with the enthusiasm and support for the event and the feedback has been immediate. We hope that this will allow vendors to connect with new distributors and retailers across EMEA (to start with) and give retailers the opportunity to expand their portfolio and see a live demo of some of the products so they can make an informed decision.”

Pitch-your-Product, hosted by ChannelHub, the first online portal for matching buyers and sellers of consumer electronics, allowed some new consumer electronic vendors to pitch their products directly to a group of pre-qualified distributors and retail executives from around the EMEA region.

The event allowed each registered vendor five minutes to spotlight and convince registered buyers from across 40 countries. Winners and finalists were selected by a live vote by senior executives from distributors and retailers based across EMEA.

All participating vendors are listed on ChannelHub platform and can potentially be contacted by any of our 500+ buyers from 65 countries. A full report for the event is here. The next session is scheduled for 6 May 2020.
