Out of the Box LLC, a Dubai-based company focused on creating 3D printed activations has just installed the first Massivit 1800 large-scale 3D printer in the UAE. The Massivit 1800 3D printer is the first of its kind to produce large, custom parts, prototypes, and moulds with a build volume of 145 x 111 x 180 cm (57 x 44 x 70 inches). Massivit 3D’s portfolio of 3D printers was designed to overcome existing 3D printing market barriers related to production size and speed. Based on the company’s proprietary Gel Dispensing Printing technology, Massivit 3D printers have so far been adopted across 40 countries outside the UAE.
Victor Crasto, the Managing Partner at Out of the Box, added, “We have been producing large format props for theme parks, events, and several projects with Global Village produced to scale and on different materials that our clients ask for. The addition of the Massivit 1800 gives us the possibility to produce products at a speed no one else can deliver in the market.
