Middle East, 19 December 2011 – NEC Display Solutions Europe will attend BETT 2012 in London on January 11-14, 2012, one of the biggest international education trade shows and a major event for NEC. Through its booth, E90, located on the ground level, NEC Display Solutions will demonstrate how the latest technology benefits schools and universities.

BETT attracts up to 30,000 school leaders and education professionals from 100 countries every year and is an excellent opportunity for NEC Display Solutions to showcase the latest developments for the education sector. This includes innovative solutions such as the evolution of 3D projection technology for creating more engaging and dynamic learning environments, interactive whiteboards utilising short-throw and ultra-short throw projectors, as well as NEC’s M and U Series classroom projectors, iPad projector software solutions including virtual remote and PC control, and last but not least multi-touch large format display solutions.

NEC’s display solutions also extend beyond the classroom and into the campus as a whole, including a range of digital signage and videowall systems that can reach out to students and faculty with class notices, bulletins and event promotions in order to achieve campus-wide connectivity through a single point of access.

“In the last 10 years, the education sector has modernised itself with more immersive and engaging display and projection systems. Reinforced by recent 3D research, it is proven that technology at school highly impacts performance and results. NEC Display Solutions invests in solutions that bring benefits to pupils and students, by making the class simply more visual and interactive.” said Stefanie Corinth, Vice President Marketing and Business Development at NEC Display Solutions Europe.

“This event allows us to not only showcase our industry expertise and range of advanced projection and display solutions, but also to find out the latest information on new technologies and trends from a wide range of high profile stakeholders across the industry.”
