Dubai, UAE, 23 February 2015NEC Display Solutions Europe will be showcasing its broad range of display solutions and the introduction of its innovative touch screen solution for classrooms and small group learning at the Gulf Educational Supplies and Solutions (GESS) 2015 from 24- 26 February 2015 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.  NEC will be participating through its partner, Projection House on Stand 040 to showcase a variety of innovative tools like Short Throw-/Ultra short throw  projectors, multi-touch large format displays and interactive whiteboards.

This year, NEC Display Solutions will highlight its new P Series touch displays, using ShadowSense™ technology for true multi-touch support with up to six simultaneous touch points. Unlike other optical technologies, ShadowSense™ uses innovative high performance sensors to provide unprecedented performance, stability, and accuracy. The anti-reflective coating means reflections are reduced to a minimum which significantly increases readability of content.

Prakash Bhati, Business Development Manager for Projectors, Middle East and Africa, said“Technology plays a pivotal role in the education sector as it contributes in honing the skills of young people. We will showcase an exciting range of products that are designed for a quality learning experience.”

During the show, NEC will also present its projector solutions like UM351Wi (Multi-Pen) and M352WS on show. The ultra-short-throw UM351Wi (Multi-Pen) and short-throw M352WS projectors are perfectly suited for the classroom set-up and small to medium sized meeting rooms. Less shadow and glare gives the presenter more space to engage with his audience and enhances the experience when using the integrated interactive multi-pen solution.

For NEC’s M352WS, the filter free design with dust-protected DLP light engine, very long lamp life and low power consumption results into remarkably low cost of ownership.  The interactive Multi-pen option and optional DisplayNote Presenter software turn this short-throw projector into the centerpiece of a modern learning and meeting environment.

Stivan Pinto, Marketing Manager Projection House said, “We see great potential in this collaboration between NEC and Projection House, where NEC has the technology, while Projection House is an established distributor with extensive reach in the market. We look forward to GESS 2015 as a promising platform where we can showcase our wide product range and extensive solutions that are tailor made for education industry”

In its 8th year, GESS 2015 will host 350 exhibitors from 35 countries with more than 9,000 regional and international education professionals expected to attend the event.
