Combining low TCO and rich features, the new 42-inch MultiSync features full HD support, complete LAN control and offers sophisticated eco-features.

MIDDLE EAST, June 10, 2010: NEC Display Solutions, the leading manufacturer of quality imaging solutions, today announces the rounding off its V-series, comprising the NEC MultiSync® V321 (32-inch) and V461 (46-inch) public displays, with the new NEC MultiSync V421.

The 42-inch widescreen display boasts an S-IPS panel with full HD resolution as well as professional features such as HDMI functionality and remote control via LAN or RS232. Combined with a low total cost of ownership (TCO), the model offers an excellent price/performance ratio.

According to Ian Gobey, General Manager at NEC Display Solutions Middle East and Africa, the NEC MultiSync® V421 is the ideal solution for applications that don’t require 24/7 operation. The latest addition to NEC’s MultiSync® range was designed to cater for the professional   channels and users looking for a high quality display that can provide them great performance at lower costs.

“The NEC MultiSync® V421 is an entry-level, extremely robust display featuring installation solutions for even some of the most demanding environments” Gobey added. “Our new MultiSync is ideal for digital signage applications such as displays in the retail environment corporate communication and information systems for meeting rooms and video conferencing.”

The NEC MultiSync® V421 display is configured locally using the intuitive on-screen display or remotely via a LAN or using RS232 codes. The menus and control functions are very similar to those of the NEC Multeos and P-Series making it easy to use displays from various series in the same installation.

As well as impressive performance, the NEC MultiSync® V421 also offers sophisticated eco-features. An intelligent product design and high-quality components ensure low power consumption. User Controllable fans are automatically activated when the ambient temperature exceeds 40°C. Feet are only supplied as an option in order to optimise material use, since the majority of public displays are mounted directly onto the wall.
