Middle East, 5 July 2012 – NEC Display Solutions Europe has launched a new website dedicated to assisting cinemas to find the best advanced digital cinema projectors and variety of display solutions to enhance the overall cinema experience.

With an ever-growing range of display technologies available to cinemas, this site aims to inform and simplify the decision making process across the cinema ecosystem and to help customers find the most appropriate solution for them.

Visitors to the website will be able to see NEC’s wide portfolio of end-to-end digital cinema solutions that have been designed specifically for a range of cinema applications from digital projectors for showing films, to the latest digital signage and videowall solutions – perfect for the foyer environment to showcase trailers, upcoming shows, advertising and related media.

The site will act as a centralised hub for product information and selection, upcoming events, NEC news, case studies and specific information like details of the NEC service-based Network Operations Centre (NOC) for remote failure warnings, diagnosis and management.

“There are many opportunities for cinemas to use display technology to create a modern environment for their cinema-goers. Cinemas choose our advanced projectors to play content in high quality, including high resolution and 3D content, whilst enjoying lower TCO and excellent reliability,” said Mark Kendall, Business Development Manager for Digital Cinema at NEC Display Solutions Europe.

“This new website highlights our capabilities to offer solutions for every aspect of the cinema experience, from the lobby and foyer through to the screening rooms. Several recent European deployments in the UK, Spain, France and Russia demonstrate the strength of NEC’s business offering, which we have specifically tailored to the demands of today’s cinemas.”
