NEC Display Solutions Europe has unveiled the MultiSync® V322, the latest addition to its popular V Series of public displays, the first 32-inch NEC display to incorporate NEC/Intel OPS slot technology.

NEC is once again setting new standards in the entry-level segment, with the new display designed to meet the stringent requirements of retail signage and airports – including areas such as baggage belts, info screens and check-in counter displays. This high-definition display incorporates an ambient light sensor for minimised power consumption, built-in speakers for fewer cables and lower installation cost and thermal management to allow for demanding installations and integration while guaranteeing outstanding reliability and longevity.

Furthermore, the inclusion of a STv2 OPS slot allows for the integration of single board computers and other option slot products based on the new NEC/Intel OPS standard without the need to stow external equipment. Modules include various PC, HDSDI and other solutions extending the connectivity and flexibility beyond industry standards for 32-inch public displays.

The MultiSync® V322 is also the first public display on the market boasting full control of the display using SNMP over LAN, combined with the ability to send alert emails in the unlikely event the display experiences a problem such as no signal, overheating or backlight failure.

“NEC’s MultiSync® V Series is an incredibly popular range due to its tremendous value for money and wide feature set. This latest addition raises the bar even higher for entry-level public displays by offering unprecedented flexibility and control through these new features,” said Thorsten Prsybyl, Product Line Manager Public Displays at NEC Display Solutions Europe.

“With this display, and our planned future additions to the range, NEC can provide a solution to meet the every need of customers looking for good ROI and with high expectations in reliability and longevity.”
