Middle East, 17 June, 2014 – NEC Display Solutions Europe will be showcasing its developed range of digital cinema projectors and display solutions at CineEurope 2014, being held in Barcelona, Spain from 17 – 19 June 2014, at suite D, including the latest 4K laser innovations.

NEC Display Solutions offers an extensive portfolio of advanced DCI projectors and digital signage solutions with 3D capabilities and 4K resolution tailored to any size cinema, screening rooms and foyers. Recent examples of NEC’s European installations include Queen Mary 2 and a partnership with ODEON to install a LED video wall for movie premiers, measuring 107 square meters in London’s Leicester Square.

NEC Display Solution’s highlights at CineEurope will include:

  • Demonstrations of the new NC1100L, the world’s first fully integrated compact DCI-compliant digital cinema projector using laser light source, which means there is no lamp. It offers the best total cost of ownership (TCO) and outstanding colour image quality for cinema screens up to 11m.The Cinema ‘Arena Estiva Ex Stalloni’ Reggio Emilia in Italy is the very first location in the world to install a DCI-certified laser projector – the NEC NC1100L – since it represents the future of digital cinema.
  • Displaying the new NC1040L, the world’s first DCI-compliant laser projector that offers a 4K resolution and the world’s widest colour gamut to deliver unequalled image quality for the most discernible cinemagoers. It is designed for screens up to 10m.
  • Insights into the future of cinema signage solutions, including a wide variety of content management solutions for large videowalls or smaller monitors in foyers.
