The NP64 and NP43 come with NEC’s latest eco technology and full automatic features making set up quick and easy.

Middle East, 30 June 2010 – NEC Display Solutions, the leading manufacturer of quality imaging solutions, launches the successors to the successful NP62 and NP41 projectors with its latest DLP projectors – NP64 and NP43.


The two new models feature an autofocus function, boast simple and rapid operation coupled with long lamp life. Its portable and compact body make NEC’s newest projectors ideal for mobile use in corporate environments.

Despite its portable and and compact body, NEC’s latest projectors has sufficient brightness for large screen presentations for meetings and even for large conference rooms. With a brightness of 3,000 and 2,300 ANSI lumen respectively and a contrast ratio of 1,600:1, the NP64 and NP43 deliver brilliant pictures in XGA resolution (1,024 x 768). Both projectors are real lightweights, coming in at just 1.7 kg.
Featuring Automatic Power-on, Signal Detection and Automatic Focus the projectors are extremely easy and quick to set-up in changing environments. Auto Keystone Correction also allows immediate correction of any trapezoidal distortion and automatically adjusts to project square images. In addition, the NP64 features an USB viewer and supports Bluetooth® transmission allowing more veiwing options when doing presentations.
An ideal product for the corporate on-the-go, users of the NP43 and NP64 can packed them instantly after use which is made more convenient by its direct power off switch. Users do not need to wait for the cool fan to stop as the projectors can be kept right away into the supplied soft case.
Presentations are also smarter with the new lens cover. Being connected to the projector’s AV mute function, the closing of the lens cover enables the user to easily mute the projector during a meeting.
The integrated carbon savings meter supports green corporate initiatives by encouraging users to operate the projectors in Eco mode and calculates the related CO2 savings. Eco mode lowers the operating cost by extending lamp life up to 3500 hours and reducing power consumption.
Availability, prices and warranty
The projectors NEC NP43 and NP64 are now available. The supplied package includes an IR remote control with batteries, a Mini-D-SUB signal cable, a power cable, a manual CD and a carrying case. NEC Display Solutions offers a three-year warranty for these devices, plus a warranty period of six months or 1,000 operating hours for the projector bulb.
