Leading display vendor highlights solutions for the region’s System Integrators and Pro AV Users 

Middle East, 18 March 2010: NEC Display, the leading manufacturer of quality imaging solutions, is participating in this year’s PALME Middle East, the region’s exclusive trade event dedicated to professional audio, light, entertainment, music, audio visual and systems integration solutions.


NEC Display will showcase a wide range of products and solutions, with live demonstrations featuring its latest 3D projection technology, unique 20,000 ANSI lumens projector stacking solution and several other new  display solutions.

Visitors will get a first impression of the X431BT BarType display, a unique digital signage product designed for places with space restrictions like shelves, shopping windows or pillars where no digital signage can currently be applied -. Mounted either vertically or horizontally, the professional 43-inch BarType display features control and monitoring over Ethernet and, ambient light sensor for perfect brightness levels.

Another highlight is NEC’s Multeous Touch LCD displays featuring advance DST (Dispersive Signal Technology) touch technology by 3M and excellent light transmission that provides vibrant optical characteristic with anti-glare properties. NEC’s Multeos Touch Series touch operates with static objects or other touches on the screen, touch is also unaffected by surface contaminants, such as dirt, dust and grime. The displays enable fast, accurate repeatable touch features and are impressively robust allowing unaffected operation even with surface damage.

The impressively, super slim MultiSync® X461UN, also won’t fail to catch visitors eyes, the ultimate video wall product from NEC with bezels as thin as 2.7mm.

NEC Display Solutions focuses on numerous innovative software solutions in this year’s exhibit. Visitors have the opportunity to experience unique viewing demonstrations of the NEC NP3250 projector – up to four of these units can be combined to form an overall projection, featuring an impressive brightness and quality.
With the abundant features of the NP3250, NEC Display Solutions satisfies all the requirements of demanding digital signage applications. The manufactures supplies six optional lenses for the projector so they can be flexibly adapted to various installation situations, resulting in a huge range of applications in digital signage, conferences and exhibitions.

NEC Display Solutions will also be using these stacking models to present a 3D solution. Thanks to a very quick automatic setup, the solution provides a fantastic three-dimensional image for stereoscopic projections. Additionally, NEC will present its new low-cost 3D projection technology with the upcoming NP216. Combined with active 3D glasses and 3D software the entire installation is very reasonably priced, using only one projector and also eliminates the need for special filters or screens.
