Dubai, UAE; 15 October 2014 – The Dubai Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) has announced that Kamran Elahian, Co-Founder & Chairman at Global Catalyst Partners, is to address a special gathering of TiE members and share his insights into the Global Innovation Economy.
As an entrepreneur, Elahian co-founded ten companies, three of them failed, six of them produced a total market cap of over $8billion. As a Venture Capitalist, he co-founded Global Catalyst Partners with investments in several countries around the world.
Underlying Elahian’s global vision is the conviction that modern Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) can be instrumental in dissolving barriers between the nations. This vision is reflected in Schools-Online, a non-profit he co-founded in 1996 to connect the world, one school at a time (6400 schools in 36 countries were provided with computers and access to the Internet) and merged with Relief International in 2003.
The special keynote presentation by Kamran will be hosted on 21st October 2014 in Dubai Knowledge Village Auditorium from 6pm onwards.
