FVC, one of the Middle East & North Africa (MENA)’s leading VAD (value added distributor) in the technology sector has announced a partnership with Sangoma, a provider of hardware and software components that enable or enhance IP Communications Systems. This announcement adds to FVC’s numerous Unified Communications and service provider offerings while offering Sangoma the chance to reach a much larger customer base.

Commenting on the significance of the partnership, K. S. Parag, Managing Director of FVC, said “We are delighted to represent Sangoma in the region. These solutions will help our partners offer their customers fully integrated Polycom and Microsoft Unified Communications solutions in a very efficient and cost effective manner.”

Sangoma is one of the leading providers of hardware and software components that enable or enhance IP Communications Systems for both telecom and datacom applications. Its product line includes VoIP gateway appliances, Session Border Controllers, SS7 Gateways, Transcoding Hardware and Microsoft Lync Express Appliances. Sangoma Lync Express provides a complete PBX replacement, and is the only all-in-one Lync server appliance with a built-in VoIP gateway and Session Border Controller. It packs all of the Lync and telephony functions into a 1u server chassis that is easily installed and configured.

Johan van Bruck, Sales Director for EMEA remarked that “Sangoma has a clear focus on the MENA region. It is one of the rare areas that continue to invest in IT and Telecommunications due to the economic growth of SME’s and Corporate Enterprises. Through a master distributor like FVC, we are able to expand our regional business with a partner who covers a large area, knows the region extremely well, and can significantly help the company grow.”
