In addition to the movie and refreshments, du will also distribute recharge cards* to the labourers and organised special lucky draws.

In support of Year of Zayed in 2018, du created the world’s largest mosaic – a monumental Year of Zayed logo made from 50,000 du recharge cards worth AED 100,000 in partnership with Sharjah University. du will distribute these recharge cards during the movie screenings.

As part of sustainability efforts, we are delighted to partner with BigZ to bring initiatives that help us resonate with this important community. By organising these movie nights and distributing recharge cards, we wish to create memorable moments for the labourers.”

Movies are an escape and for many of them, this is a luxury that they cannot afford. We are pleased to put some joy back in their lives and help them recoup and recover from their strenuous work.”
