Kids for ToysMIDDLE EAST, 17 December 2014 – DISTREE Events has announced that its new DISTREE Kids & Toys event will launch in Monaco from April 22nd to 24th 2015. The event will provide a powerful business platform for toy manufacturers to meet face-to-face with senior buyers from leading toy distributors, importers and retailers operating in emerging markets across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Farouk Hemraj, Director and Co-Founder at DISTREE Events, said: “The DISTREE event format is a highly effective way of doing business. The ‘invitation only’ event will gather together some of the region’s leading toy buyers together in one place at one time. Participating brands will have the opportunity to research attending buyers before the event and create a tailored one-on-one meeting schedule that precisely meets their business needs.”

DISTREE Kids & Toys will leverage more than a decade’s experience that DISTREE Events has accumulated in the technology and consumer electronics sector. As a business unit of international media company Infopro Digital, DISTREE Events will continue to extend its highly successful event format to cover more product categories.

Coline Meffray, DISTREE Kids & Toys Event Director, said: “The new event combines the DISTREE event format with the deep industry expertise that Infopro Digital already possesses in the toy sector. DISTREE Kids & Toys will offer a new, highly efficient, cost-effective and results-driven event format that will allow toy manufacturers to rapidly build or launch routes-to-market in some of EMEA’s most exciting emerging markets.”

DISTREE Kids & Toys 2015 will take place at the Fairmont Hotel in Monaco, offering an exclusive business-focused environment for the event. More than 110 distributors, importers and retailers are set to attend with a focus on many of the region’s fast-growing emerging markets.

Hemraj added: “DISTREE Events has a deep understanding of emerging markets, helping brands to identify the right channel partners and bringing them together face-to-face. DISTREE Kids & Toys will focus on markets in Eastern Europe, Russia & CIS, Middle East and Africa for the 2015 event.”

The delegate base from Eastern Europe will incorporate buyers from Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. Top distributors, importers and retailers from South Africa and North African markets will also be invited to attend DISTREE Kids & Toys.

Far removed from a traditional trade show, all participating importers, distributors and retailers are pre-qualified by the DISTREE recruitment team to ensure they meet the event criteria. In addition to pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings between delegates, DISTREE Kids & Toys will also include a conference programme focused on topical issues impacting the market, plus professional networking opportunities and product awards.

Meffray continued: “DISTREE Kids & Toys will also include the exciting ‘60 Seconds to Convince Awards’. This session gives brands the opportunity to deliver a one minute elevator pitch for their latest products in front of all delegates. Winners will be selected using a live electronic voting system. The ‘60 Seconds to Convince Awards’ will be a great opportunity for companies to raise their profile at DISTREE Kids & Toys.”

“The DISTREE event format is tried and tested and has been hugely successful in other sectors, offering manufacturers an incredible return on investment (ROI). The opportunity to meet the region’s major toy buyers face-to-face in one place at one event saves companies time and money. We look forward to welcoming all delegates to DISTREE Kids & Toys in April 2015,” Meffray added.

DISTREE Kids & Toys will offer the most efficient channel management platform for toy manufacturers looking to launch, build or manage routes-to-market in the EMEA region. For more information on DISTREE Kids & Toys, please visit www.distree-kidsandtoys.com
