DistreeMIDDLE EAST, 3 December 2015: DISTREE EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) has confirmed that the event’s main exhibition area will move to the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco in 2015. With an increased 4000 square metre exhibition area now available, the new venue will allow an increased number of technology and consumer electronics (CE) vendors to attend DISTREE EMEA 2015, which takes place from February 2427th in Monaco.

Farouk Hemraj, Director and Co-Founder at DISTREE Events, said: “This move reflects the growing demand from ICT & CE brands around the world to participate at DISTREE EMEA. Product vendors appreciate just how important the event is, allowing them to pre-schedule face-to-face meetings with senior executives from the region’s leading e-tailers, retailers and distributors.”

“The available floor space is increasing by 60% year-on-year,” Hemraj added. “This allows exhibitors greater flexibility in terms of stand design and meeting spaces. It also allows us to expand the remit of DISTREE EMEA as we see more brands from new and emerging product areas looking to take advantage of the unique channel development platform the event offers.”

The Grimaldi Forum is a high-tech congress centre located at the edge of the Mediterranean, in the exclusive surroundings of Monaco, offering exhibition space, auditoriums and breakout rooms. In addition to the exhibition area, the Grimaldi Forum is also the venue for DISTREE EMEA 2015’s keynote sessions, channel summits and workshops.

DISTREE EMEA offers an unparalleled opportunity for ICT & CE vendors to manage, build or launch routes-to-market, attracting a wide variety of companies from start-ups through to A-brands. DISTREE EMEA 2015 will feature four specialist zones within the exhibition area:

  • Smart Channel Zone
  • Sponsor Zone
  • Central Exhibition Zone
  • Business Connect Zone

“The zones reflect the diversity of companies that now want to attend DISTREE EMEA,” added Hemraj. “The Smart Channel Zone will feature connected devices, connected home products, IoT solutions and wearable technology. These technologies are now making an impact in the mass market and we have hundreds of distributors and retailers looking to add new vendors to their portfolio in these fast-growing categories.”

The prominently located Sponsor Zone will be home to DISTREE EMEA’s headline sponsors, ensuring maximum brand exposure and foot traffic for exhibitors. The Central Exhibition Zone will give vendors an opportunity to reserve a larger area to showcase products, displays and marketing materials. The Business Connect Zone will offer a flexible space for start-up vendors, agents, distributors and service providers, offering each exhibitor a dedicated meeting point.

“DISTREE EMEA is far removed from a traditional trade show, with a focus on the quality of attendees, not just the quantity,” added Hemraj. “The exhibition area and private meeting rooms host thousands of pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings between brands and channel partners. DISTREE EMEA connects consumer channels, opening up new routes-to-market for vendors.”

“All channel delegates are pre-selected and pre-qualified by our experienced team of recruiters, meaning that vendors get to meet the real decision-makers during DISTREE EMEA,” stated Hemraj. “This event is a gateway to the EMEA market and offers vendors a powerful return on investment.”

DISTREE EMEA 2015 will also include a new Smart Channels Summit focused on how the retail channel will evolve to deliver smart homes, connected devices and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions to consumers across Europe.

A new GfK advice service will also launch at DISTREE EMEA 2015, allowing delegates the opportunity to pre-schedule meetings with the GfK team at the event to discuss specific business issues or trends. Delegates will also receive advice and recommendations tailored to their precise needs.
