Buffalo Technology is going to demonstrate its products in four separate sections on their booth: SMB Terastation Business NAS Solutions corner, Wireless Networking Solutions corner, Storage Solutions corner and – launching in the Middle East for the first timeaccessories corner.

 

The new TeraStation 5000 & 7000 series will be the key focus in the SMB TeraStation Business NAS category. The TeraStation™ 7120r and TeraStation 7120r Enterprise, the first in a series of ultra high performance, 12-bay 2U rack mountable NAS and iSCSI storage servers packed with business-class features and advanced functionality. The 5000 series currently consists of the two-drive TeraStation 5200 and the four-drive TeraStation 5400.(The six-drive TeraStation 5600, the eight-drive TeraStation 5800 and the four-drive rack-mounted TeraStation 5400R will be launched later on.) Equipped with the powerful Intel® Atom™ D2550 dual-core processor, the TeraStation 5000 series provides supercharged performance and offers an array of business class features including iSCSI, replication and failover support and SoleraTec™ Phoenix RSM™, a video surveillance asset management solution.

 

Launched earlier this year, Buffalo Technology will demonstrate its 11AC product range in the Wireless Networking solutions corner. Based on Broadcom’s 5G WiFi chips, WZRD1800H and WLI-H4-D1300 offer speeds up to three times faster than 802.11n and are fully backward compatible with 802.11a, 11b, 11g and 11n to ensure interoperability with legacy devices.

 

Products in the Storage solutions corner will include the world’s first portable Thunderbolt™ and USB 3.0 dual-interface external drive solution. MiniStation Air Wi-Fi Portable HDD with USB 3.0 which is a carry along media library with a smart phone or tablet for extra capacity. Ministation Extreme- Ruggedized, Secure Portable USB 3.0 Hard Drive, Portable Blu-ray™ Drive Writer (BDXL) Buffalo USB 2.0 Portable Blu-ray™ Drive Writer, DriveStation™ Quad USB 3.0 and Drivestation Velocity- USB 3.0 External Hard Drive with TurboPC EX & HW Encryption.

 

In the accessories corner, Buffalo Technology will display its interesting new range of PC accessories including the Reversi-Port USB Hub, world’s first USB hub that lets you plug in a USB cable right side up or upside down. Other interesting accessory on display are Smart Phone accessories such as the Mobile Battery for Smart Phones, which is a portable charging device that can be carried around anywhere.
