New models prepared for faster transfer speeds with greater capacities

The new range of USB 3.0 DriveStation™ Duo and DriveStation™ Quad will be available in 3 variants beginning the end of February.

The USB 3.0 DriveStation™ Duo is a unit that features twin RAID enable drives in two bays accessible via a USB 3.0 that connects and transfers data using 5Gbps USB 3.0 and 480MBps USB 2.0 connections to the computer. The USB 3.0 DriveStation™ Quad, on the other hand, sports four RAID enabled drives in four bays. The DriveStation™ Duo is enabled with RAID 0 for performance and RAID 1 for redundant storage, while the DriveStation™ Quad is supplied with drives with RAID 0 for performance and RAID 5 or 10 for redundant storage.

Backwards compatible with USB 2.0 ports, the new USB 3.0 DriveStations give the user an option to utilise the high storage capacities. The Buffalo DriveStation™ Duo USB 3.0 is available in 2, 4 and 6 TB variations, while the Buffalo DriveStation™ Quad USB 3.0 is available in 4, 8 and 12 TB variations.
