Alcatel Lucent Enterprise receives the EMA Award

Alcatel-Lucent has been awarded the Best Communication Service Provider in the recent Emerging Markets Airports (EMA) Award 2011. Winners of the second edition of EMA Awards were announced at a gala evening held at Al Bustan Rotana Hotel in Dubai. Alcatel-Lucent was among a total of 91,115 nominations and 34,000 votes filed for the awards this year.

The EMA awards were instituted to recognise and honour excellence in the aviation and airport industry from the emerging markets across 28 categories by surveying the most diverse and discerning group of professionals involved in the airports, aviation, aerospace, cargo and logistics industries. The winners were recognized based on the values of the endorsement by these professionals, as well as the online votes received by members of the public and corporate institutions worldwide.

The award nominations and voting process is independently managed and audited by Frost & Sullivan. The event was attended by key airports and aviation industry peers and decision makers from around the world.
