Abu Dhabi, 21 November 2011: One hundred and fifty constituents of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) have already confirmed their attendance at Black Hat Abu Dhabi, to be held from the 12th to 15th December 2011 at Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi. The TRA represented by the UAE Computer Emergency Response Team (aeCERT), in cooperation with Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR) have partnered with UBM Middle East for the second year in a row.

H.E. Mohammed Al Nasser Al Ghanim, Director General of the TRA, and aeCERT said, “aeCERT is delighted to confirm 150 of our constituents are attending Black Hat Abu Dhabi 2011.” He continued, “This illustrates the commitment from both aeCERT and our partners towards building a secure and safe cyber culture in the UAE and wider region through the highly specialised training and understanding of the latest cyber-security trends that Black Hat offers.”

Black Hat Abu Dhabi will extend a full range of ten training sessions over two days, followed by two days of three briefing sessions running simultaneously to the exhibition. The briefings will discuss and demonstrate the latest and most important security issues facing the market today.

The keynote speaker at Black Hat Abu Dhabi 2011 is General Michael Hayden, United States Air Force (USAF), Retired, former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Deputy Director of the National Security Agency (NSA).
