Dubai, United Arab Emirates 20 May 2013: The enterprise business of Alcatel-Lucent, a leading innovator in the field of networking and communications technology, has announced the dates for its annual Dynamic Tour in Middle East & Africa (MEA). The tours main theme, “make it personal” refers to the various ways that enterprises can move forward in the “New PC” (Personal Cloud) Era. As enterprise communications develop at a rapid rate, companies are now beginning to see that the communication methods used in their personal life are influencing changes within the workplace. Employees and organizations, while not fully harnessing the potential of advanced communications, are starting to explore new ways of using smart devices for work for increased productivity and efficiency. The “New PC Era” recognizes this change with the “C” standing for “Cloud”, forming a whole new meaning to this dynamic.

As applications and services become accessible at all times through multiple devices, there is a growing need for enterprises to guide their organizations towards the new PC Era. The Dynamic Tour is designed to offer its participants the best ideas, practices and guidelines towards making it personal.

Baher Ezzat, Regional Sales Director for the Middle East Region stated, “As an annual event, the Dynamic Tour is an important date in the Alcatel-Lucent calendar. It is something our customers and ecosystem partners look forward to. It is a great opportunity for us to share our achievements over the past year and to discuss the most important trends and developments in Enterprise technology. We hope that such an event will shed light on the numerous challenges and developments faced by CIOs in the new PC Era.”

In addition to sharing information on new technologies, the virtualization of networks and the unification of networks for the mobile enterprise, this year’s event will feature a separate track dedicated to the infrastructure and communications need of the hospitality sector.

The Alcatel Lucent Dynamic Tour will take place on the 28 May at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Jumeirah Beach Residences, and will be attended by close to 300 of Alcatel-Lucent’s partners and customers from across Middle East & Africa.
