Alcatel-Lucent is participating in the upcoming 6th FTTH Council MENA scheduled to take place on 24 & 25 November in Dubai United Arab Emirates. Held under the patronage of Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA), the theme of this year’s event is ‘FTTH – The Rise of Smart Nation’.

As end-users grow accustomed to a dynamic, interconnected world offering fast anytime/anywhere connections to services, service providers need to continuously evolve their networks and services to keep pace. Today, we are living in an ultra-broadband world, one that demands a nearly inexhaustible supply of bandwidth for new services. Service providers, who hope to keep pace with this world, need innovative solutions and technologies that not only allow them to squeeze more from their existing network, provide a platform for a range of new anywhere services, but position them for the years to come with a flexible and more dynamic network architecture.

Alcatel-Lucent is at the forefront of bringing innovation to bear to create the ultra-broadband world of tomorrow. We are working with service providers around the globe to leverage emerging ultra-broadband technologies to deliver new revenue streams, new customer experiences, and a more connected world. With Alcatel-Lucent, service providers can be faster to meet demands, closer to their customers, and be first to new opportunities.
