Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 10 February 2015: TiE Dubai, the local chapter of the global, not-for-profit, organisation originally set up in Silicon Valley, has announced a new leadership for 2015–16, headed by eminent serial entrepreneur, Prashant K Gulati, as President. PK, as he is commonly known, brings to this role his competencies and skills as a mentor, entrepreneur and board member of several institutions and start-ups across the globe. Gulati is also a global board trustee of TIE and is involved in the shaping of the global direction of TIE.
“It’s an honour to have been selected by the charter members to be TiE Dubai’s new President and I hope to use this opportunity to give back to the society by enhancing the ecosystem of entrepreneurship and start-ups in the UAE and Middle East. We support the vision of positioning UAE as a business hub,” said PK Gulati. “TiE has a rich ecosystem of expertise to bring to the region and share with these potential entrepreneurs as part of its membership program. Membership to TiE adds value to the business community and nurture creativity.”
