Buffalo Launches Two New Wireless Routers

Middle East, 2 November 2009 – Buffalo Technology, a global leader in the design, development and manufacturing of storage, wireless networking and memory solutions, has announced the availability of two new wireless routers – the Buffalo AirStation™ Wireless-N 300Mbps Router (WHR-HP-G300N) and the Buffalo AirStation™ NTechnology 150Mbps Router (WHR-HP-GN). Both routers use the latest wireless LAN technology to deliver high speed Internet connections of up to 300Mbps and 150Mbps respectively. Each of these new Buffalo routers also incorporate built-in 100Mbps 4-Port routers, enabling shared connections between home PCs and is easy to setup with the Buffalo AirStation™ One-Touch Secure System (AOSS™).

Jasem Al Roomi, Director at Buffalo Advantec FZCO, said, “Wireless-N technology provides improved performance and extended range over Wireless-G. As an innovator, Buffalo has stayed ahead by providing products that meet the needs of its customers both at home and small businesses. The new routers allow access from anywhere via the VPN server/gateway.”

The new HighPower Technology in the latest Buffalo routers reduces dead spots, and extends the range in and around the home or small office. The new Buffalo AirStation™ routers’ automatic channel support selects the best available wireless networking channel for easy setup using its AirStation™ One-Touch Secure System (AOSS™) or WPS.

Other features in the routers include:
•    Built-in DHCP Server
•    Built-in 4-port 10/100 Auto-Sensing Switch
•    Includes NAT and SPI Firewall
•    Warranty – 2 Years
•    Supports WPA2, WPA-PSK (TKIP, AES) and 128/64-bit WEP Security

The new Buffalo AirStation™ routers are available through leading retailers across the Middle East.
