MIDDLE EAST, February 17, 2015 – DISTREE Events has confirmed the launch of a new series of exhibitor awards for 2015. The DISTREE Diamond Awards series will debut in Monaco later this month, forming part of the 13th annual DISTREE EMEA event. The recipients of DISTREE Diamond Awards will be determined using on-site feedback from channel partners at each event.

Farouk Hemraj, Director and Co-Founder at DISTREE Events, said: “DISTREE events feature hundreds of great brands with innovative products and go-to-market strategies that appeal to participating channel partners. The DISTREE Diamond Awards will enable channel partners to reward the brands that impress them most at each event.”

“We plan to roll out the DISTREE Diamond Awards across each of our six annual channel events. These awards will serve as a true benchmark for channel excellence in the technology and consumer electronics market, highlighting brands whose products, strategy and business relationships have a genuine seal of approval from channel partners,” he added.

During the course of each event, attending channel partners will assess all exhibitors on a range of factors including product portfolio, product roadmap, channel programme, business potential and go-to-market strategy. Channel partners will then have the opportunity to supply feedback, which will be used to determine the recipients of the DISTREE Diamond Awards in various product categories.

“Channel partners attending DISTREE events spend several days meeting exhibitors, discussing business opportunities, learning more about their products and assessing their plans for 2015 and beyond. It is only fair that these channel partners are then given the opportunity to recognisecompanies that truly excel in a product category,” added Hemraj.

The DISTREE Diamond Awards will serve as recognition for companies that offer a compelling channel proposition. Selected by channel partners, the DISTREE Diamond Award will be a hallmark of quality in terms of go-to-market strategy for brands that are selected to receive an award.

The first DISTREE Diamond Awards will be voted for and presented during a Gala Dinner in Monaco on February 26th as part of the wider DISTREE EMEA event programme. These new awards will take place alongside the ‘EMEA Channel Academy: 2015 Awards’, which are taking place for the seventh year in a row in 2015.

The DISTREE Diamond Awards will cover 17 separate categories at DISTREE EMEA. All participating channel delegates will be advised of the categories at the beginning of the event and will have the opportunity to assess all exhibitors ahead of the Gala Dinner.
